Reasons You Eat When You’re Not Hungry
Have you wondered why Most of us end up eating more snacks than meals in a day? Why do we crave food even when we are not hungry? Here are some of the reasons for it.
Mouth watering dishes: - It is a human tendency to feel hungry on watching delicious dishes. According to one of the psychologist, human tends to hold over hunters and gather in times when there is a scarcity of food. The hunger hormone ghrelin gets triggered when we see delicious food and it makes us to eat more even if we are full.
Over thinking: - When you over think, you run out of energy which makes you eat .Also when you over think you tend to eat more comfort food. Comfort foods can be candies, cookies, and coffee. So avoid the comfort food and eat more of healthy fruits and smoothies as a snack.
Not Full From The Previous Meal: - If you are not eating the right amount of meal just because you want to lose some weight then you are doing it all wrong. You need to eat right quantity of meals otherwise you will end up eating more snacks. Like ice cream, chocolates and chips because you will were not full from the previous meal.
Because the clock dictates that: - If you have a habit of opening your lunch box when the clock strikes at noon then you are letting the clock dictates you when to eat and when not to. Avoid eating just because it time to eat .You should eat at only when you are feeling hungry. Ignore the clock and listen when your body tells you to eat.
Drunk: - When you drink alcohol your body desire to eat increases. You start eating more and your brain catches on to this. Alcohol and food craving are associated, Therefore make sure to eat a good meal before getting drunk so that you can avoid fake hunger.
