Baahubali is set to break all records. Here's why

The much awaited SS Rajamouli's film bahubali was released this Friday in a massive across 9000 screen worldwide. Baahubali: the conclusion is one of the biggest films this year. When the prequel bahubali was released in 2015, audience hardly expected anything out of it. But due to the climax “why bahubali killed kattapa” of the first movie, it left audience anticipating what will happen in the sequel.

When Baahubali 1 was released it became has highest box office collection of Rs 650 crores. Whereas the sequel of bahubali is expected to be record all the previous record.

Bahubali 2 has been realsed across more than 6500 thousand screens in India and around 9000 screens worldwide. These figures are huge for any Indian film. In terms of advance booking in India, almost all the tickets were sold for the first weekend. The top movie ticket booking websites BookmyShow has released that more than a million tickets were already sold just after 24 hours of the initial timing of ticket availability. Since this movie come from south film industry there is a huge buzz in the south. The sale revenue figure also has surpassed the Bollywood blockbuster dangal starring Aamir khan.       

Ashish Saksena, COO of BookMyShow, said, "BookMyShow is experiencing an unprecedented advance booking for Baahubali 2. We have already sold over 1 million tickets across languages, even when the bookings have been live for just over a day. Though Baahubali 2 is largely perceived to be loved by South Indian audience, the response from Hindi speaking markets has been highly encouraging as well. Once all the cinemas in South come out with their schedules for the film, we expect the online ticket sales for Baahubali 2 to surge at an increasingly fast pace."

The trade pundits have anticipated that Bahubali 2 is going to breaks all previous records with massive box office opening of around 90-100 or on the very first day.

Also, the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state government has given exclusive permission to screen this Bahubali 2. In AP, the film will have six shows a day, while Telangana will have five shows. Produced by Arka Mediaworks, the sequel Is produced on a budget of Rs 250 crore and has already fetched enough moolah for the producers even before the release. Reports also suggest that Baahubali 2 ranked in Rs 500 crore through its satellite and distribution rights. Collectively put together all the factors, Baahubali 2 is expected to earn Rs 1000 core.
