Over the weekend, Pam Zaring shared the final, retouched images from her recent family photoshoot in St. Louis, which made her family look like – for lack of a better description – soulless, razor-toothed creatures who emerged from the nearby lake.
Zaring said the photoshoot happened back in May, and it’s apparently taken this long for the photographer to figure out how to edit them. After nearly a year, this is what she was sent. Brace yourselves.
At least the photographer spared the dogs.
Some are saying the photos, which have been shared almost 400,000 times, are too awful to be true, but Zaring insists they’re real. Neither Zaring nor the photographer have responded to requests for comment, but in the Facebook post, Zaring wrote, “[The photographer] said the shadows were really bad on the beautiful, clear, sunny day and that her professor never taught her to retouch photos.”
The photos are watermarked “IMagery by Lesa Hall” and cost the family $250, which Zaring said was completely worth it for the laugh. “Also putting this out there!! Please continue to keep this fun and silly, and be kind. In no way is this post meant to be vicious,” she said in a comment on her post. “It was worth the money we spent for the humor we received!!!! I hope y’all have laughed as hard as we have!!!!”
