All the Reasons Alicia Vikander's Trainer Wants You to Lift Weights, Starting With Weight Loss

While watching Alicia Vikander climb up big things and jump off even bigger things in the Tomb Raider trailer, it was impossible to miss how ripped she's looking these days. She spent seven consecutive months working with Magnus Lygdback, a celebrity trainer and wellness expert who has worked with Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Katy Perry in the past.

We spoke to Magnus about his program with Alicia, and unsuprisingly, he said strength training and weightlifting were the big focuses for them. That's how she tacked on 12 pounds of muscle and earned an eight-pack.
