5 Time Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar Gave Us Some Serious Fitness Goals!

Newly-crowned Miss World, Manushi Chhillar is an inspiration. Being a medical student, she had to juggle her studies and preparation for the pageant. Her hard work paid off when she won the coveted crown of Miss World 2017, becoming the sixth Indian to be crowned Miss World. She is also the first one to win the crown after Priyanka Chopra was crowned in 2000. Manushi, who is a trained Kuchipudi dancer, has undergone a rigorous training to look well-toned and in perfect shape. She had a strict diet and exercise regime to be healthy and fit. She was introduced to Pilates by Samir Purohit, a stott pilates instructor and Co-founder of The Pilates Studio.

 

Pilates is a form of exercise that improves your flexibility, helps you gain lean muscles, develop a strong core and improves strength.

Manushi posted a photo of her doing plank exercise with a caption that said, “The plank utilizes almost every single muscle of your body and is one of the best exercises you can do for your body!”

Manushi also shared diet tips by Nmami Agarwal, a celebrity nutritionist and dietician. The first tips is- never skip your breakfast as not having your breakfast can lead to increases hunger pangs. The second one was to eat regular meals on a smaller plate. Having small meals at regular intervals will help you to reduce snacking. The third tip is to avoid sugar.
