What type of yoga do you teach?
I have a brand called Aree's Army—it's like my brand of yoga and the community, this army of people who follow me and go to my classes and whatnot.

What's different about your brand of yoga?
It's super-untraditional, very nonconforming…basically Coachella music inside the yoga studio, and not dogmatic at all. So I won't sit there and talk about breathing 20 times. … I'm not vegan or vegetarian—I still drink, and from time to time, if I go out I have a cigarette. So I'm trying to get people who normally would not go into a traditional style of yoga because they feel like they have to be granola or have to be flexible or quiet.

Were you coming out of a yoga class here?
I really don't take yoga class that much. I'm actually obsessed with Spinning right now, so I was on my way coming back from a Spin class. Just running around all day, I'm constantly in activewear. I'll add either [casual] shoes to dress it down during the day or even nicer shoes to dress it up at night.

So you'll even go out in activewear?
Yes.

What tips do you use to dress it up?
Usually if I do solid on the bottom, then I'll do a fun print up top and grab a fitted jacket or leather jacket. Then I'll pair it up with little booties or platforms and grab a clutch and go. So I usually just change my bag and add accessories or a scarf. And then change shoes and jacket.

What's your favorite place to shop for activewear right now?
Well, I'm a Lululemon ambassador, but I'm also an ambassador for this Web site called Carbon38, and it's my favorite, favorite thing. They've nailed it. They're basically the Net-a-Porter of activewear right now.
