The survey, carried out by the UK-based financial firm AXA, found that within minutes, you instantly notice crucial things that can make or break your attractionÃ¢â‚¬”like the amount of eye contact and smiling, tone of voice, body odor, and clothing choice. And according to the survey (and common sense) those factors all add up to whether or not there will be a second date. In short, you need to make a good impression fast.

So how can you impress someone in just 12 minutes? Here are few research-backed do's and don'ts that should help get you started:
