Handing your guy a broom once in a while can lead to better sex. That’s the takeaway from a new University of Alberta study that looked into whether the amount of housework a guy does influences a couple’s sex life.
For the study, which was published in the Journal of Family Psychology, researchers analyzed data from 1,338 couples who were together for at least five years. They looked at two things: how much men contributed to housework and how fair their contribution to chores was perceived as being.
Researchers found that the exact amount of housework dudes did wasn't so important; as long as they reported that they made a “fair contribution” to chores, couples had more sex and were more sexually satisfied. Preach.
