It's probably safe to say we can blame the TV we watched during our formative years for giving us hopelessly unrealistic expectations of what love is supposed to be like. Week after week, we'd crush so hard while watching the antics of hunky, memorable characters we daydreamed about long after walking away from the TV. Whether it was the aloof guy with the leather jacket or the brainy cutie who knew every answer in math class, we've compiled a list of some of the dreamiest guys from our favorite old television shows that we'll always remember fondly.

Brandon and/or Dylan from Beverly Hills, 90210

Whether you preferred the calm and collected Brandon or quintessential bad boy Dylan, there was just something about the guys from Beverly Hills, 90210 that spawned major daydream fodder. No wonder Kelly had such a hard time picking between the two!

3/11 ,
Chachi Arcola from Happy Days

He was as cool as the Fonz but way cuter—and we loved watching him chase after Joanie Cunningham for five whole seasons. Their adorable rock 'n' roll love affair even got a whole spin-off with Joanie loves Chachi. Is it any wonder we swooned for Scott Baio well into the Charles in Charge years?

Jordan Catalano from My So-Called Life

He was the epitome of the gorgeous but perpetually unattainable guy who broke our hearts in high school, and that is why we just can’t help but love him. Plus, didn’t you just love the way he, you know, leaned?

Alex Keaton from Family Ties

He made politics and economics actually seem interesting, and you already knew he looked good in a suit and tie (hello, prom!). What more could you ask for?

Kevin Arnold from The Wonder Years

Maybe it was because it was the first time we got a peek into the teenage male brain, but Kevin was just so likeable and relatable. And his total devotion to Winnie was just downright adorable.

7/11 ,
Will Smith from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

He had more style in one of his Air Jordans than most guys in your high school had in their entire body—with a sense of humor and fresh moves to boot. Who wouldn't want to kick it with Will Smith?

8/11 ,
Detective Tom Hanson from 21 Jump Street

Strictly speaking, his character wasn't actually high school-age. But two words for you: Johnny Depp. Case closed.

9/11 ,
Parker Lewis from Parker Lewis Can't Lose

If you loved Ferris Bueller, then odds are you had a crush on Parker Lewis, too. With his ultra-cool status and outrageous antics, dating him in high school would have been so much fun.

10/11 ,
Trent Lane from Daria

Okay, yes, we know he was a cartoon...but he was such a dreamy badass that it was no wonder someone as smart and sarcastic as Daria could fall so hard for him.

Zack Morris and/or A.C. Slater from Saved by the Bell

Some people had it bad for the scheming cutie Zack. Others were way more into Slater, the jock with a sensitive side. Both boys from Bayside High will always have a soft spot in our hearts. Kelly, you were one lucky lady.
