The Sight of This Woman Squeezing Her Blackheads Is Both Disturbing and Mesmerizing
In today’s edition of “Gross Things Found on the Interwebs,” one woman has taken to YouTube to share some groundbreaking footage of herself squeezing her blackheads. And, naturally, it's spreading like wildfire across social media.
The vomit-worthy clip shows the woman squeezing the blackheads on her nose in order to remove the sebum (a.k.a. the oily gunk that builds up in your pores).

Besides the yuck factor, this method of banishing your blackheads is definitely not derm-approved. As tempting as it can be to squeeze those suckers, you’re likely just doing more damage to your skin. Squeezing the blackhead may get some of the sebum out, but it also pushes the bacteria deeper into your pores and causes more irritation.
Since blackheads occur when pores become clogged with dirt and oil (which then turns a blackish color when it oxidizes with exposure to air), the best way to rid yourself of them is to keep skin clean and well-exfoliated.
Still, it's damn hard to look away when someone else goes about it all wrong.
