Over 1,000 Match.com members were surveyed between November and December of last year, including both smokers and non-smokers. So why is lighting up on the first date such a bad idea? According to the survey, 57 percent of singles said they would never date a smoker, and even 60 percent of fellow smokers had reservations about dating someone else with the habit. And since first dates are all about first impressions, flaunting this vice probably isn't the best idea.
