The 4 Sex Positions Guys Say They'd Rather Skip

When it comes to sex, most guys will pretty much have whatever you're having. That being said, we figured there have to be some sex positions that guys like less than others.

So we asked 724 Men's Health Facebook followers for the real deal on the positions they dislike and why they harbor those hard feelings.

As it turns out, 37 percent of guys said they've never tried a sex position they didn't like. Seriously.

But a majority of dudes said that they've definitely sampled some terrible moves in the sack, more specifically, the standing and spooning positions.

So what the hell do men have against a good ol' standing sex sesh? Well, apparently, it's hard to get things lined up the right way:

"Maybe both of us are too short? Couldn't get the angle quite right. My partner couldn't get her booty stuck out far enough," says one respondent.

"Our height difference makes it hard to accomplish," says another.

"This was awkward to make it work, and I ended up on my tippy toes."

As for the spoon move:

"It hurt my penis because it's curved."

"It just feels awkward, like you can't really move and enjoy the sex."

The most common reason guys gave for not liking a sex position: It was too awkward to pull off. (Maybe they should check out these sex moves that transition perfectly into others.)

Other moves that guys would rather skip include reverse cowgirl and 69. To each their own sex agenda.

Finally, the survey takers shared the move they L-O-V-E. Drumroll, please. It's doggy style! Roughly 38 percent of men said they heart this move more than any other. Missionary came in a distant second.

So how do you know if your guy just isn't digging a certain position? Well, the majority of guys (51 percent) said they've spoken up about it before—but the other 49 percent stayed silent.

While guys aren't strangers to powering through sex positions they aren't crazy about, sex is way more fun when you're not just grinding through it (literally). Discuss the moves each of you like and dislike (here are some creative ways to ask for what you want in bed) and plan accordingly.
