Ever since the Kensington Palace announced the royal engagement between Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle, the world has been waiting with bated breath to see the bride-to-be in a wedding dress. Obviously, this has led to a lot of speculation.
According to a recent report by TMZ, an Israeli designer has been approached by the Royal Family to submit three sketches for Markle’s wedding dress. Designer Inbal Dror, who’s dressed popular celebrities such as Beyonce and Naomi Watts, has submitted designs that are all body hugging and with long sleeves, a tradition for royal brides.
The first sketch reveals a sleek gown with puffed shoulders. In the second sketch, the back of the same dress can be seen with an elegant lace train. The third sketch is of an A-line dress with a tiara.
The designers is known to use a lot of racy silhouettes with puffed shoulders and neckline that’s slashed all the way to the waist. Dror’s designs usually range between $8k (Rs. 5,12,239) to $10k (Rs. 6,40,299). While, it’s not confirmed yet if Dror will be designing the bridal gown for the wedding, it is certain that she’s in the running.
