On Her Wedding Day, Anushka Sharma Was The Princess We All Dream Of Being

In the moment when you're marrying the person of your dreams, it can feel like the world has paused, just for you. In #Virushka's case, this is practically true: heartbeats and breaths all over the country came to a standstill over the wedding of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. The adorable couple got married yesterday in the most breathtaking ceremony in Tuscany, Italy and though it's been hours now, we still can't get over it! The beautiful wedding took place at Borgo Finocchieto, a beautiful, heritage resort surrounded by vineyards, fulfilling Anushka's dream of getting married in a vineyard. Now, while every aspect of their wedding (whatever we've caught a glimpse of till now, at least) looks like a dream come true, it will take us a while to wholly absorb the stunning princess that Anushka looked like on her big day.

A Sabyasachi bride from head-to-toe, Anushka was glowing in her blush pink, heavily embroidered lehenga, and her jewellery was to die for! It took 67 karigars 32 days to complete Anushka's lehenga, which was embroidered with "exotic birds and butterflies and tropical flora and fauna" to fit in with the beautiful Tuscan surroundings. Her jewellery, also Sabyasachi, was authentic jadau, made of uncut diamonds, baroque Japanese cultured pearls and pale pink spinel. She wore a beautiful choker, long earrings and a mathapatti and nose ring.

But an element of her already otherworldly bridal outfit that not many noticed at first, were the gorgeous Tuscan hydrangeas she wore in her hair! With Gabriel Georgiou on hair, Anushka had a tight, low bun that was covered in flowers and it just made the whole look even more special.

JUST LOOK AT IT, GUYS - it's like a crown of flowers in her hair!

Anushka's make-up was done by her trusted friend and Bollywood make-up artist Puneet B. Saini. The look was extremely minimal, and with her being so decked up otherwise, we completely understand why she kept it that way. But boy, did she look beautiful. With the lightest base ever, using a foundation made by the gods themselves, Anushka's skin looked flawless. Possibly the most noticeable aspect of her make-up were her strong brows, which we think framed her face perfectly, especially with everything else going on. The actress also had darkly tight-lined eyes and some mascara, and a barely there blush pink lip that seemed like it was made for her. And let's not forget the tiny bindi that brought the whole look together.

We can't deal with all the beauty, guys. We're sitting with our phones, some tissue and green tea and spending the day looking at more pictures and videos of the wedding of the year.
