There are gloomy days which make you feel like you aren't losing an inch despite all that effort and then there are days like today where we bring to you a MASSIVE transformation to ditch all that low feeling! My turning point was when I realised that I had everything in life and the only thing I lacked was good health. This is something that money can't buy and as I was getting older, it would be more difficult to lose weight. Moreover, I realised that after being fat all my life, it was high time I changed! My breakfast:
50 grams of oats with a scoop of whey protein mixed in yoghurt and 200 ml of almond milk My lunch:
100 grams of brown rice
, 200 grams of lean protein (chicken breast, fish etc), and 100 grams of veggies My dinner:
100 grams of paneer in some green veggies for a good source of fats. I never mix carbs and fats in any meal. I indulge in (What you eat on your cheat days):
I generally don’t cheat, so even if I do, I make sure it’s a clean cheat, like a sugar-free dessert, or a dosa without oil etc. Also, I pair it with a heavy training day (leg day) so that no damage is done. My workout:
I weight train 5 days a week, dedicating a day to a heavy muscle group. Apart from this, I do 1 hour of cardio in the morning as well as in the evening. Low-calorie recipes I swear by:
Protein pancakes are really low in calories and filling. Lettuce wraps are the best, it's like having a burger without the bun wrapped in lettuce. Zucchini boats are great too. Zucchinis stuffed with chicken kheema are really low in calories and taste heavenly! Fitness secrets I unveiled:

I remember my past as to how fat I was, how people stared at me and it makes me even stronger. How do you ensure you don’t lose focus?
I stay focussed by remembering my fitness goal for life. That's the biggest motivation, to be a better person every single day! What’s the most difficult part of being overweight?
Right from not being able to fit into an airplane seat to walking for 500 meters without panting, everything was difficult. Apart from the physiological difficulties, it was also an emotional stress, as people making fun of you, staring at you, has an effect on your psyche. What shape do you see yourself 10 years down the line?
10 years down the line, I want to see myself lean with a serious amount of muscle mass! What are the lifestyle changes you made?
I learned to control my environment and not the other way round. My profession involves a lot of travel and earlier I used to use it as an excuse to cheat and be complacent. But now, I carry my meals with me and also hit the gym wherever I go. I control my life completely. What was the lowest point for you?
The lowest point was when I saw the weighing scale at 168.8 kilos and it depressed me. Lessons learnt from weight loss:
