It seems intimidating, but cherry blush is both bold and—surprisingly—softly romantic.

Step 1:
Using a large, fluffy brush, dust a matte cherry blush onto the apples of the cheeks.

Step 2:
Sweep a silver-flecked pinkish-nude highlighter onto your cheekbones.

Step 3:
Blend the blush and highlighter by swirling them together. . .a lot. This makes the red more sheer so it's not crazy-intense. ("Oh, good tip," says Kat, watching Ceciliato. "I always see these fresh cheeks in magazines, but I didn't know how they got them.")

Step 4:
Pat moisturizer over your cheeks for a dewy finish.

Step 5:
For the eyes, mix your blush with a shimmery dark-peach eye shadow and apply it to your lids. Slick a rosy-mauve lipstick onto your lips.
