Is Sonam Kapoor Channelling The Hulk With Her Latest Outfit Choice?

Sonam Kapoor sure can work it, no matter what the silhouette it. Exaggerated hips, plunging necklines and now sleeves that are larger than your average helium balloon.

At her latest appearance, Kapoor wore a black Jacquemus jacket and trouser ensemble at the We The Women conference that was curated by award-winning journalist Barkha Dutt. The actress shared the stage with some pretty inspiring women, such as Olympic athlete Sakshi Malik, author Twinkle Khanna and Balaji TV CEO Ekta Kapoor to name a few. Sonam lent her voice to the cause of women's issues that are currently plaguing our society.

The monochrome look was accessorized with a handbag from Rheson - her fashion line that she created with sister Rhea Kapoor - and a smattering of diamond jewellery. Her beauty look, as always, was flawless, keeping it simple with a chic, low bun and winged eyeliner. Talk about looking like a complete #bawse. Oh and that jacket alone costs a cool $1,086 which is approximately Rs 70,000.

You can’t go wrong with a white shirt and red lip! @nabilnayal

But that's not the only exaggerated sleeve outfit she wore. Spotted at the airport, post her return from the Dubai International Film Festival (where she wowed us again with some pretty stellar looks), she was spotted wearing a white shirt with balloon sleeves from designer Nabil Nayal. The Syrian born, UK raised designer is currently one of the hottest emerging designers and was shortlisted for the prestigious Louis Vuitton prize. Kapoor swiped on a bright red lipstick and sported John Lennon-esque circular sunglasses.

If you think that ended there, check out Kapoor's appearance on the Tape Cast. The actress picked a polka dot, George Keburia blouse that had puffed sleeves. She also gave fans a bit of fashion trivia as well, letting them know in the caption that Minnie Mouse was the first person to debut polka dots. Who knew?

Sonam will next appear on the big screen in the very hotly anticipated Veere Di Wedding, releasing in May 2018. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar and is produced by Rhea Kapoor. Sonam is also set to play former actress Tina Munim in Sanju, the biopic on Sanjay Dutt starring Ranbir Kapoor.
