Adriana Lima walked her first Victoria's Secret catwalk when she was just 18 years old in 1999. Now, eighteen years later, the supermodel has hinted she might be taking a different career path that doesn't involve "taking her clothes off".
The longtime Angel seems to have had a kick of conscience. Writing on her Instagram, the supermodel explained a recent encounter with a friend who was lacking in body confidence, made her consider her own career. "I wake up thinking, how do I look? Was I going to be accepted in my job? And in that moment I realized that majority of woman probably wake up every morning trying to fit in a stereotype that society/social media/fashion etc imposed." she says.
Adriana finished he caption by stating: "I will not take of my clothes anymore for a empty cause."
But the big question is, does this extend to Victoria's Secret? Adriana has been one of the brand's longest standing models, along with Alessandra Ambrosio, and the pair walked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2017 catwalk just weeks ago.
