Ileana D'Cruz Could Be A Disney Princess At Her Latest Appearance

Ileana D'Cruz was recently in Dubai as a special guest of the hotel Roda Al Bustan, which was celebrating its 20th anniversary. The Barfi actress looked like she was auditioning for the role of a Disney princess wearing a pouffy monochrome gown by designer Eshaani Jayswal. The Kolkata-based designer is a favourite with B-Town celebs, counting Sonam Kapoor, Kajol and Malaika Arora Khan as fans.

Stylist Sanam Ratansi added a belt from UK's high street label Topshop that gave added definition to Illeana's teeny-tiny waist. Hairstylist Sheetal Khan teased D'Cruz's locks into old Hollywood style waves while makeup artist Divya Chablani gave her deep red lips. Doesn't she look amazing? We love how D'cruz is unapologetic about flaunting those curves.

The actress recently opened up about her battle with depression and body dysmorphic disorder. In the video for a brand, Ileana revealed that she was picked on for her body type since she was a teenager. It got amplified when she joined acting. Soon, she began to develop suicidal tendencies. "There was a period; approximately 3 years ago, I had gone from happy to being completely depressed and not knowing what it was. The most comforting thought for me was what if I end things now! And I thankfully realised that this is not right. I never thought I'd be somebody dealing with anxiety or depression."

We, for one, are glad that the actress sought help and is in a happier place right now.

Illeana isn't the first person from Bollywood to open up about their struggles with depression. Deepika Padukone too revealed that she suffered from anxiety and depression and started the Live, Laugh, Love Foundation to help people out. Karan Johar too revealed that he suffered from depression.

Ileana will next be seen on the big screen opposite Ajay Devgn in Raid and Aankhen 2 opposite acting stalwarts Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor. On the personal front, the actress has been in a long-term relationship with Australian photographer Andrew Kneebone and we're crossing our fingers to hear wedding bells soon.
