Last December brought us the heartbreaking news that Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs were separating after 10 years of marriage. Yesterday, Idina spoke with CBS Sunday Morning about how she's coping: "I'm lucky 'cause I've had all of these distractions and I've been working. I mean, if I didn't have a job, I'd be home eating, like, a tray of brownies and watching sad romantic comedies and Bridget Jonesing it out, you know?"

Idina and Taye were both 25 when they met during the Broadway production of Rent, and they were together for eight years before getting hitched. Certainly no one can blame her for wanting to crawl into bed with some brownies after a devastating split like that, but we're happy to hear sheÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s keeping busy. Regarding why the couple decided to separate, Idina explains: "We were together for 18 years. We've been through a lot of ups and down, and we worked really hard for a long time." She went on, "I just think, you know, we've grown apart, grown up, going on our own separate ways."
