If you thought the jokes about Donald Trump's "bleeding out of wherever" comment had dried up, you were bloody wrong. Turns out, artist Sarah Levy, from Portland, Oregon, was just waiting for the right time...of the month...to get her creative juices flowing.
That's right; Sarah used her own menstrual blood to paint a very life-like caricature of the bullish Republican presidential Candidate.
"I heard the comments he made to Megyn Kelly, and I was outraged that he was basically using women's periods not just to avoid a political question but also to insult her and all women's intelligence," Sarah told USA Today. She later told Buzzfeed, "That he thinks he can bring up the healthy functioning of women's reproductive systems to insult women's intelligence is a big problem that needs to be called out."
The portrait, titled, "Whatever," isn't just a statement about Trump's aggressively sexist comment—it's also a fundraising effort. Sales of a poster version (relax, it's a print, so no real blood will be used), is for sale on Etsy, and all the proceeds are going to an organization that supports Mexican immigrants—another one of Trump's famously least-loved groups.
Sarah writes on the Etsy page: "Let's make America great again—for women, immigrants, working people, and everyone else Trump fears when he's home alone at night crying beneath the bed sheets." Yikes!
Sarah isn't the first artist to use her medium to poke fun at Trump. He's already had piñatas made to look like him, this glittery T-shirt (which we're not sure is a joke or not), and yes, there's even a Trump a butt plug (which you can really stick in your whatever).
