All I Want for Christmas is You

Over Thanksgiving weekend, I was quite popular. I received 17 winks, nine messages, six 5-star ratings, and a partridge in a pear tree.

After all, it's the season of loneliness.

Almost half of all singles (46 percent to be exact) want a significant other to bring home for the holidays more than anything else, according to a Match.com survey. They want a special someone more than a new job or even a new iPhone (I’ll admit that while I desperately want a new iPhone, I doubt Siri is a very good cuddler).

41.3 percent of singles polled even said that the “Why are you still single?” question is the most tiring holiday stressor (out of any and all holiday stressors!). And 29.2 percent of men admit to having lied about being single to family members during the holidays to avoid such questions.

It appears boys are ripe for the picking this holiday season.
