Another one in 2017 led by Dr Yasmin Belkaid also reported that cells found in fat could help the body fend off infection.

  • Healthier mind: A study of 2 million people suggested that the overweight and obese people may be less prone to developing dementia in old age, contradicting popular notion and obesity increased the risk of the disease.

Researched showed that those with higher BMI were better protected against the disfiguring bone condition.
